June 2024: Bicycle Rodeo

Sherburn / Welcome PD and Trimont PD teamed up to host a bike rodeo in each town this year! 

May 2024:  Law Enforcement Day at MCW Elementary

During this year's event, we had Sherburn / Welcome PD, Trimont PD, Fairmont PD, and Martin County Sheriff's Office in attendance. 

This is the 13th year that we have hosted this event at the school.  The students and staff both enjoy the event, as well as the officers.

November 2022:  Funeral Services for Retired Chief Hughes

Funeral services were held November 3rd, 2022, for Brad L. Hughes, age 51, at St John Vianney Catholic Church and Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont. Brad served as Chief of Police from Dec 1st 1998 to June 7th 2022. He will be missed. 

October 2023:  Trunk or Treat 

During this year's event, we had Sherburn / Welcome PD, and lots of volunteers with decorated car trunks hand out candy to all the area kids! We had a huge turnout and appreciate everyone who came out in both towns!

December 2023: Shop with a Hometown Hero

Shop with a Cop took a spin for the better! With the help of Sherburn Fire, Welcome Fire, City of Trimont, Martin County Sheriff's Office and of course Sherburn/Welcome PD, we shopped for 13 children in the Martin County West area!
